The new VDO Speed Alert MK II, part number 124.130,  is designed to give a visual and acustic warning when a pre-set speed has been exceeded.

Calibration is very simple and is done after the unit is installed. Assuming the vehicle speedometer is calibrated correctly, by driving the vehicle at 60 Km/h (or 60 MPH) press the "Set" button on the display and the VDO Speed Alert is now calibrated.

In addition to the speed warning, there is an output wire for an external buzzer or flashing light.

Also, the unit has a "Headlights On" warning function.

Now is dual voltage 12/24V with LED illuminated green display.

For vehicle with mechanical speedometers use speed sensor kit p/n 412.009.

I can be mounted on the dash by using the supplied double-sided sticky tape.
